Back Office is the process engine for commercial transactions in Statkraft. The process engine covers a responsibility for validation of commercial transactions, clearing and collaterals, contract settlements, revenue accounting operations and EU regulatory reporting for transaction across Europe. In a quick and changing environment, Back Office is building the bridge between commercial departments and finance units. Back Office in Amsterdam is a part of European Back Office team which currently consists out of around 70 colleagues based in Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, Oslo, London and Tirana. Why Statkraft? Working in Back Office Origination Back Office Origination has the end to end process responsibility for Origination portfolios which consists of non-standardized products. The process responsibility includes trade control and deal validation, deal confirmations, invoicing, Profit & Loss reconciliation, external counterparty relations and support new products implementation for origination products. As a Specialist in the Back Office Origination, you'll:- have a good understanding of the components of a trade deal and the implications for billing, Profit & Loss analysis, SAP booking and tax treatments
- contribute to smooth and accurate daily operations in our team as well as support in month end activities
- be responsible for trade validation, settlement different products, portfolios, and counterparts
- have a close co-operation with Front Office, Middle Office and other units in the Finance Departments in Amsterdam, Dusseldorf and Oslo
- process understanding and improvements with focus on end to end thinking
- how to keep and develop a good collaboration with internal and external customers about all matters regarding operationalization of commercial contracts
- preferably a university degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Profound IT Skills, especially knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge from contract operations in an energy related company
- A precise, accurate and systematic working style.
