Daniel Owen are currently looking for a Specialist Facilities Management Contract Manager, responsible for day to day operational requirements covering a number of children's homes homes within the Hertfordshire area.

As a Facilities Contract Manager you'll provide inspired leadership enabling agreed aims and objectives to be achieved, whilst ensuring that the services delivered meet the needs and requirements of customers. You'll deliver effective and efficient services including:

  • Management of a multi skilled trade based resource.
  • Day to day responsive works.
  • life cycle, legislative, servicing and cyclical works.
  • Financial and budgetary management.
  • Performance management of resource and operational functions.
  • Compliance to local, National and Group requirements.

Our client is looking for someone who has previous experience of running a facilities management contract along with managing a multi-disciplined team within a business environment with the following experience;

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working within a PFI FM Contract.
  • Demonstrable success and capable of delivering contractual compliance in line with contract requirements.
  • A proven confident, astute leader.
  • Displays excellent communication and negotiation skills coupled with an aptitude for leadership, delegation and people management.
  • Has experience of working with SFG20.
  • Able to analyse statistical data to inform decision making, problem solving and prioritisation of available resources.
  • A detailed operational understanding of utilities and lifecycle management and PPM.
  • Ability to produced property 5 and 10 year lifecycle.
  • Ensure controls are in place including audits to monitor the management and delivery of the services.

This is a temporary position, based on 36 hours per week.
