We at Protocol are working with an established college in the Croydon are to support their Specialist Learning Support provision, We are seeking an experienced Learning Support professional or Health Practitioner to provide personal support to a Higher Needs Learner with specific medical care requirements. The ideal candidate must have experience in following Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPS) as well as assisting with personal medical requirments.
This post is for two full-days per week and the requirement is on a long-term basis.
Role responsibilities
Provide Academic and pastoral support to the HNL (Higher Needs Learner) during the allocated class
Adhere to all college policies including Equality & Diversity, Safegaurding and Prevent
Assist with the personal care requirements as and when required
The person & qualifications
Experience in ITC (Intermittent Catheterisation) - Essential
Previous experience dealing with Higher Needs Learners
Experience providing support in a college environment
