About the role as Splicer (Fibre Jointer)

We are currently recruiting for Splicer (Fibre Jointer) who will be responsible for undertaking underground /overhead Jointing (Splicing), testing and repair of optical fibre cables in the Openreach network.

What we need from you?

To be considered for this role you will have previous splicing experience, a "Can Do" attitude with the right approach to doing the right thing for the client.

  • Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence
  • Hold or have held a valid NRSWA street works card.
  • Experience working with job packs.
  • Have experience working on Openreach's Network and hold the relevant accreditations
  • All relevant accreditations to be valid for 4 months demonstratable via Smart Awards
  • Can work as part of a team, or individually, outside in all weather conditions
