Job Description
Be part of our client's team as a Staff Accountant, managing reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. You will prepare financial statements, support audits, oversee tax matters, and ensure compliance with internal controls. This role also contributes to revenue recognition, cash flow, and financial analysis to drive global business success.

Shift: Night shift, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time), Weekends Off

The Qualifications We Seek
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards
- Prior general accounting experience; U.S. GAAP preferred
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software
- CPA/Chartered Accountancy and audit experience are a plus
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Adept at using technology, including software packages, online portals, and cloud-based systems to capture, analyze, and record information
- Strong work ethic; follows instructions, raises issues, communicates effectively, and solicits feedback to improve performance
- Ability to handle a wide breadth of responsibilities in a timely manner, with conclusions that demonstrate business acumen and present alternative decision points where necessary
- Willingness to work extended hours during month-end close and other critical financial periods
- Flexibility to work on local holidays if U.S. holidays do not correspond (compensatory time off may be provided depending on pay relationship)
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal abilities
- Self-starter who reviews work carefully with a focus on accuracy, planning, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring
- Strong initiative, problem-solving abilities, and clear summaries of analyses
Your Daily Tasks
- Assist in administering all levels of accounting and special projects as required by management
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations; prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end close and prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations
- Record financial transactions in accordance with company policies into ERP systems
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of the global financial statement audit
- Handle tax-related matters, including sales tax (vendor and customer side), in coordination with third-party service providers
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for management
- Support treasury and cash flow activities
- Contribute to revenue recognition, contract organization, and deferred revenue waterfalls
- Provide support in acquisition-related due diligence and integration activities
- Analyze and interpret financial data, trends, and variances for forecasting, budgeting, and other financial analyses
- Perform various other projects, as assigned
