What's in it for you?

This 18 month NVQ Level 2 Steelfixer Apprenticeship has been designed so you will become multi-disciplined in all aspects of steel fixing, giving apprentices the opportunity to specialise and grow.

Over the 18 months, you will take part in classroom-based learning, on-site learning and assessments. All classroom based learning will be at the Southwark Skills Centre.

What qualifications will I achieve?

* NVQ Level 2 in Steelfixing
* Street works certificate - an essential qualification for Highways maintenance
* As well as specific construction training in pipe laying, drainage, concrete, excavation and brickwork

The apprenticeship is 18 months !!

Personal specification
* Committed to completing the 18 month apprenticeship program
* You should have good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team
* A good attitude towards learning and a self-disciplined, self-motivated, proactive approach
* Understand the importance of following instructions, policies and procedures in a safety-critical environment

Entry requirements

No experience is required and this apprenticeship is open to all candidates over the age of 18 !
