I am currently recruiting for an Engineering Technician in the Essex area. For 42 weeks per year!
Role responsibilities
You will provide technical support to the engineering area as well as deliver content to students
You also will be expected to undertake other general duties such as the preparation of materials to support the Engineering curriculum. The preparation of equipment and apparatus to meet course requirements and will be responsible for the maintenance and general upkeep of resources
You will be directly involved in the preparing for and assessing and teaching and delivery of 2 level 2 BTEC Engineering units: Engineering Maintenance and Engineering Materials. The role will also include facilitation of students using the engineering workshop to complete project and portfolio work
To carry out the role of Facilitator/Technician for Engineering.
To facilitate workshops and teaching material for Engineering Students, liaising as appropriate with the teaching team, Head of Learning and Program Coordinator.
Plan and deliver components of an individualised study programme to students as individuals and groups.
Facilitate group workshops on a daily basis and keep a record of all work and registers

An Engineering background
Strong Technician experience
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
