Contract - Long term working 10 on 4 off
Responsibilities;
- Work on structural steel of varying grades and thicknesses with the MMA welding process
- Assemble components by welding and working to tolerance specification.
- Complete a range of weld types but in particular fillet welding and butt welding consisting of both full penetration and partial penetration joints.
Requirements:
- C&G Formal fabrication/craft apprenticeship, or NVQ Level 2 equivalent.
- CCNSG or CSCS Weder/Fabricator Skills Card
- MMA (Stick( Welding Certs
- CCNSG - Safety Passport-This can be superseded with CSCS.
- Experience of heavy fabrication, both structural steelwork and plate work.
- Welding experience on Nuclear, Marine, Oil & Gas and offshore industry.
