McGinley are seeking an experienced Storeman to manage materials, tools, and equipment in a busy depot environment. The ideal candidate will hold Telehandler, Counterbalance, and Reach Forklift licences and be responsible for stock control, loading/unloading deliveries, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Start date: Immediately
Duration: Until end of April
Key Responsibilities:
? Operating telehandler, counterbalance, and reach forklifts to move materials safely.
? Managing stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory records.
? Receiving, checking, and logging deliveries.
? Issuing materials and equipment to site teams and ensuring correct documentation.
? Keeping the depot well-organised, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
? Liaising with suppliers, drivers, and site personnel to ensure efficient stock management.
? Conducting routine equipment and forklift checks to maintain safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
? Valid Telehandler, Counterbalance & Reach Forklift licences.
? Previous experience in warehouse, depot, or construction storekeeping.
? Good communication skills for liaising with site teams and suppliers.
? CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
