Our Client, a leading manufacturer of bespoke capital plant equipment are looking to recruit on a permanent basis an experienced stores supervisor / manager to improve the overall stores function including the goods in/out process, goods inspection, stock control, inventory and full utilisation of ERP/MRP system.
Stores Manager / Supervisor - Main roles & responsibilities
* Reacting to issued BOM's (Bill of Materials) then subsequently locate and arrange part packs for the mechanical production team.
* Goods In / Out
* Packing & Dispatch
* Stock Control - Including Stocktakes
* Interrogation and improvement of accuracy of ERP/MRP System
* In coordination with a senior manager, you will be pivotal to a re-design of the layout of stores to improve performance and overall organisation and tidiness.
* Stakeholder liaison with Production & Ops Management and Finance Dept
Stores Manager / Supervisor
* You will have previous experience of rejuvenating stores functions and processes and implementing new systems and procedures to improve the stores performance.
* Significant experience of MRP/ERP Systems and their functionality suite not just pure data entry
* Engineering / Manufacturing environment stores experience
