We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, amongst other we are working on a BT Contract, and we're looking for Stores Person to join our Telecoms team in Basingstoke.

We are now recruiting for a Stores Person to join our Telecoms team in Basingstoke.

What you'll be doing:

Your duties will include, facility management, stores management, stock control, and supporting the Delivery teams. Carry out a supporting role in facilities management and maintaining a hazard-free and environmentally safe depot.

You will be responsible for maintaining all company issue uniform/PPE and vehicles. You will ensure all equipment remains in good condition and efficient working practices are adhered to, while promoting the Company Brand. Accurate reporting of any stock movement including issues, returns, and stock transfers to other locations.

We are seeking candidates who:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a similar construction Delivery Depot role.
  • Demonstrate experience in MSDS storage and handling.
  • Physically Fit to carry out manual handling
  • Excellent Computer Skills, MS Excel, Outlook, CPA/Causeway, other.
  • Flexible approach
  • Valid UK driving licence

    Desirable:
  • Fork-Lift License
  • Telehandler License
  • COSHH Training
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • First Aid
  • Relevant Qualifications to support experience
