We're looking for a Street Lighting Installation Operative to join our Highways Team based in Shrewsbury. Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £competitive

Responsibilities

As a Street Lighting Installation Operative, you'll be working within the Highways Team, supporting them with the installation of street lighting around the Shrewsbury area.

Your day to day will include:

  • Be responsible for the installation of street lightening columns and wide base posts
  • The removal of street lightening assets and the excavation for installation of columns and signposts
  • You will also be responsible for undertaking trenching and service duct laying and to undertake emergency attendance on shift rota.
Who are we looking for?

This role of a Street Lighting Installation Operative is great for you if you have:

  • Experienced in a similar role and have a thorough understanding of street lighting installation works
  • Hold a current HERS qualification
  • Can be flexible in hours of work and travel
