Responsibilities
As a Street Lighting Installation Operative, you'll be working within the Highways Team, supporting them with the installation of street lighting around the Shrewsbury area.
Your day to day will include:
- Be responsible for the installation of street lightening columns and wide base posts
- The removal of street lightening assets and the excavation for installation of columns and signposts
- You will also be responsible for undertaking trenching and service duct laying and to undertake emergency attendance on shift rota.
This role of a Street Lighting Installation Operative is great for you if you have:
- Experienced in a similar role and have a thorough understanding of street lighting installation works
- Hold a current HERS qualification
- Can be flexible in hours of work and travel
