Kier Utilities keep our telecoms clients' customers connected to superfast broadband, digital TV and the latest full-fibre gigabit internet services through the design and construction of new fibre networks as well as the maintenance of existing HFC networks.

Your role as a Streetworks Administrator

This is a permanent position sitting within the dedicated Streetworks team working on the Falcon and Onsa contracts, where you will be involved in executing work to meet Openreach deadlines. Your role as an Streetworks administrator, will involve submitting permits for our various contractors, data inputting within the relevant KPIs/SLAs and ensuring all reports are up to date. This is the perfect opportunity to start your career in the telecoms industry and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities of a Streetworks Administrator

  • Work with the operations teams to raise notice and permit requests within the required timeframes
  • Deliver performance to set Client KPIs/SLAs
  • Feedback to relevant stakeholders when permits are raised and in use
  • Ensure all systems are updated in a timely manner with the correct information
  • Run Jeopardy management reports and liaise with Las on various issues
  • Chase relevant stakeholders for updates and escalate if necessary
  • Raising and start/stopping permits
To be a successful Streetworks Administrator we need from you

  • Strong administration skills
  • Confident with process driven office environments
  • Experience in collaborating with multiple teams/departments
  • Previous experience in an operational setting, experience in the highways and/or utilities sectors would be advantageous
  • This would be a perfect role for any starting out/wanting a career within Streetworks or Utilities
