Kier works as part of a framework for Western Power Distribution to ensure its customers have power in their homes, businesses, schools and hospitals. We employ a large number of teams across the region, whose role is it to either respond to emergencies to dig down in the street or on private property to give our client access to repair their assets, or to lay new mains cables as part of their ongoing planned maintenance programme.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Streetworks Assistant to join our team. This is a fast-paced role which will see you assisting in the process of permits and notices to the local authority for the operational teams.

What do we need from you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who holds knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks Act, and ideally having worked in the Utilities industry previously. You will also hold working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, as well as the ability to multi task and manage multiple stakeholders.
