We help provide excellent quality drinking and waste water services to approx. 1.7 million customers throughout Cornwall, Devon and small parts of Dorset and Somerset. We work as part of a framework to deliver civils schemes across these regions, whether it be fixing a small leak, or replacing a water main on planned works. We will be there, ensuring we complete the work in a safe and timely manner. As the Streetworks Manager you hold responsibility for all management of all streetworks permits/notices submitted on behalf of South West Water and Bournemouth Water. You will have a strong knowledge of street works legislation relating to New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004 and a full understanding of Street Works compliance reports and implications from non-compliance. Methodical in your approach and having worked in a Streetworks background, ideally at Management level, your communication and organisation skills will determine your success in the role. With conflicting workloads having the ability to prioritise will enable you to carry out the role efficiently, working with internal and external stakeholders. What do we need from you? We need someone with excellent organisation skills and a background in Streetworks, experience of managing multiple projects and stakeholders - someone who's enthusiastic about delivering solutions.
