We're looking for a Streetworks Manager to join our team in Lutterworth. Within this role, you can enjoy a company car or cash allowance, progression opportunities, private healthcare and even more!

Responsibilities

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.

In this role, you will be working on National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED), where we work on maintaining the client electricity distribution network across the chosen area.

As Streetworks Manager, you will hold responsibility for the management of all Streetwork permits/ notices by National Grid for the East & West Midlands & Southwest contracts.

Your day to day will include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the Streetworks team
  • Ensure all permit rules for each local Highway Authority are known and understood by the team and that any rules are applied and adhered too
  • Issuing of Jeopardy Management reporting to the business to help avoid duration overruns
  • Run regular Streetworks team meetings to discuss current performance and issues
  • Work closely with Highway Authorities and ETON supplier to ensure an efficient end to end process
What are we looking for?

This role of Streetworks Manager is great for you if you hold:

  • A full understanding of the NRSWA Act & Traffic Management Act
  • Experience of line management as you will be managing a large team
  • Good understanding of Streetworks compliance reports and implications from non-compliance
