We're looking for a Streetworks Remedial Officer to join our team based in Lutterworth. Within this role you can enjoy hybrid working, progression opportunities & even more!

Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire - hybrid working

Contract: Permanent, full time- part time/ flexible hours may be available if desired, just let us know and we'll do our best to support you

Responsibilities

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.

In this role, you will be working on our National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) contract, joining our fast-paced streetworks team which will see you drive performance in Streetworks to ensure the remedial and interim process is followed and works are scheduled within agreed timescales provided by National Grid and the Local Authority.

Your day to day will include:

  • Ensure all comments/ refusals are actioned and returned to National Grid within agreed timescales
  • Ensure all notices/ permit and relevant traffic management applications are submitted
  • Schedule weekly meetings with Operations & Supply Chains to discuss outstanding remedials and interims and agree dates for the works to commence
  • Comply with government legislation to avoid fines imposed by Highway Authorities
  • Attend site visits to educate the teams and address any SLG concerns real-time to prevent potential fines
Who are we looking for?

This role of Streetworks Remedial Officer is great for you if you:

  • Hold NRSWA & Traffic Management knowledge & qualification
  • Have excellent communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders
  • Hold good IT skills including Microsoft applications
