Within Kier Utilities we support UK Power Networks in 'keeping the lights on' for 8.2m customers throughout the South and the South East. As part of an Alliance, comprising UKPN, Wood Group, Morrison Utility Services and Clancy Docwra we are charged with delivering a £1bn programme in the 2016-2023 ED1 regulatory period.

As Streetworks & Stakeholder Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and optimising the effectiveness of the twin disciplines of Street Works and Stakeholder Management to deliver proactive solutions that enable smooth transition from planning and design into construction

You will be highly mobile and location-flexible to cover a wide range of stakeholder communications and meetings across the network. The role includes all parts of Street Works management, from advice on schemes, policing the implementation of permits/Traffic Management Plans and negotiating any penalties with UKPN, alongside management of community and stakeholder issues.

Methodical in your approach with industry experience you will have comprehensive knowledge of New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, Traffic Management Act 2004, HAUC Specifications and Street Works Permitting. With conflicting workloads having the ability to prioritise will enable you to carry out the role efficiently, working with internal and external stakeholders.
