Location: Birmingham
Salary: £26k-£30k + 26 days annual leave + Benefits
We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on projects such as Strategic and Local Highways, and we're looking for a Structures Asset Technician to join our Highways team in Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
In this exciting role you will be involved in planning projects and task work effectively to a given brief and available resources, collate defects from AMX Database and confirm and group structures together to create schemes, as well as providing monthly updates to Monthly Management Report. You will also record start dates and completion dates identifying risks on delaying estimated completion dates and produce CDM packs and supervise schemes.
We are seeking candidates who have:
- Experience in Asset management of Structures Preferred
- Experience with the use of asset/bridge management software (preferably CONFIRM and/or AMX) and the analysis of the information to provide project support
- Proven project management of highway structures projects or tasks and delivery to programme and budget in a safe environment.
- Full Driving Licence
- Fluent in use of MS Word, Outlook and Excel
