We're looking for a Structures Technician to join our Highways Team based in Penrith. Location: Penrith
Contract: Permanent, we can offer this role as either full time or part time, please specify in your application
Salary: £20k - £25k FTE+ Pension + 26 days holiday (exc. Bank holidays) + benefits

Responsibilities

As an experienced Structures Technician in our Highways team in Penrith you will be a key role in the design, planning, and construction of building projects.

Your day to day will include:

  • Prepare CAD drawings
  • Assist with tasks associated with the development of scheme work in accordance with specified processes and procedures
  • Contribute to the overall delivery of the workload of the Structures team within the Design Service office

    Who are we looking for?

    This role of Structures Technician is great for you if:
  • You will ideally have an award of or training towards HNC/HND or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
  • Highly proficient in the production of engineering drawings using AutoCAD
  • Have a general understanding of supporting factors such as health and safety, quality management and environmental management systems.
