We at Protocol are partnered with an established FE provider in the Surrey area. With the year now heading into Summer this is a crucial time for student enrolment. We are recruiting for a Student Services Officer to join a warm and friendly team to assist during this bust period. This post will be on a full-time ongoing basis for the next few months. If you hold operational knowledge of Student Services departments within an Educational setting with a strong administrative background we want to hear from you.
Role responsibilities
Provide general administrative support for the Student Services department including; answering phones, responding to emails and coordinating student activities including leavers event, year 10 days and introduction days
You will act as a key team member to coordinate the introduction of the new Student Union Executive and summer term learner voice activities.
You will also support in the review and updating of the Colleges online and printed marketing materials in preparation for the 2019/20 academic year.
To support at external events such as open evenings and prize giving.
The person & qualifications
Previous experience within a similar role within Education
proficient on the use of Word, Excel, Publisher, Adobe
Confident in using VLE or intranet style systems
Have strong administrative skills
Hold strong knowledge of Student Services available within a school or a college environment
