Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities
As a Sub-Agent, you'll be working within the Oxford team and with Network Rail, to deliver Oxford Station Phase 2 works which will increase capacity through Oxford Station to accommodate additional services planned from 2024. You will manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification in order to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality.
Your day to day will include:
- You will support the Site Agent in managing a significant section of the project as the Sub-Agent and support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and Network Rail standards.
- You will promote integrated working with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos, including development of team members and support the implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence.
- You will be responsible for supporting the Site Agent with cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs, and forecasts through commercial awareness.
What do we need from you?
- You will have the knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably from a Utilities or comparable setting.
- You will have strong attention to detail, proactive approach to work and an enthusiastic, collaborative approach. The ability to work as part of a team to deliver and commercial / Contractual awareness is desired.
- You will be working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the ICE and hold relevant qualifications - degree level, or equivalent experience.
