Look no further as the Thames Tideway project needs you. An exciting opportunity to join a major civil engineering and construction Group on one of Europe's most ambitious projects, the Thames Tideway Tunnel, as construction gets underway. The successful Sub Agent will have ample engineering experience with Tunnel Boring Machines and Spray Concrete Lining.
You will be assisting in the following areas:
- Working on the Thames Tideway Tunnel onsite as a Sub-Agent.
- Organizing the delivery of concrete onto site and working with the company to improve the quality of concrete dispatched to meet our requirements.
- Producing or updating: daily shift briefing and inspection requests.
- Testing the early age strength of concrete and workability of the concrete on site.
Requirements: You must have SCL (Sprayed Concrete Lining) experience
- Ensure the implementation of safe systems of work and best practice on site.
- Undertake safety inspections Develop Work Package Plans and Task Briefings Complete look ahead programmes and update progress Complete material orders and call offs.
