Location: South - agile at first but will be expected to work from the A417 site 5 days a week when spades to ground

Contract & hours: Permanent, Fulltime 45 hours per week

A great opportunity for a Sub Agent to join the Highways teams Initially working at an early stage on the A417 'The Missing Link', the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the Agent to specify, schedule and manage the engineering resources (people, and physical assets) in order to ensure the technical compliance of the assigned scheme to the design specification and to implement the plan safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and gross profit.
Key Responsibilities
As Sub Agent, you will manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality. Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and National Highways standards Promote Kier Group's values towards its customers to meet or exceed their expectations and fulfil the vision of becoming the most highly respected company in the industry.
What do we need from you?
- Degree qualified or hold a relevant qualification and be chartered or working towards your chartership
- Proven track record of successfully managing a project with strong management, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience of working as part of a team to deliver objectives and able to implement changes where required
- Knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably in the Highways Sector
