Job Title: Sub-Agent Location: Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth Business Area: Kier Infrastructure - Major Projects Contract: Permanent Salary: Competitive + benefits The team here at Kier Group are trusted to deliver on the UK's most critical national infrastructure projects. From Crossrail to Hinkley Point C, our building work spans once-in-a-lifetime urban regeneration and landmark commercial developments, right through to cutting-edge laboratories and large-scale public sector facilities - completed end-to-end by our in-house team with the expertise and vision to deliver high-value, complex projects. We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. We are now recruiting for a an Sub Agent to join our Infrastructure - Major Projects Team to work on our Devonport Royal Dockyard, Infrastructure Upgrade Projects. Key Responsibilites
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier other H&S related policies and procedures?
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Business Assurance Systems (BAS) policies and procedures?
  • Promote cross division working with other members within the LHA to create a one-team ethos?
  • Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded?
  • Support with work relating to financial forecasts, forecast reviews, final cost & value review with Commercial Team?
  • Escalate where expectations are not met?
  • Identify areas of opportunity and improvement?
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with the specification?
what do we need from you?
  • Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree)
  • Chartered with ICE or working towards
  • Proven track record in successfully managing a project
  • Management skills(control and management of employees)
  • Commercially aware with excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focused
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent leadership and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Working as part of a team to deliver objective of the department and company as a whole
  • Enthusiastic, Collaborative approach
  • Looking to improve procedures in the department and implement changes originating from Kier Group
