Permanent role based in Leicester, commutable from Melton Mowbray, Thurmaston, Loughborough and surrounding areas.

Mon - Fri 0600 - 1400
or 1400 - 2200 rotating
Paying up to £30K
Unlimited overtime available and paid at a premium
Welding Supervisor or senior welder Job Description
Description
As a Welding Supervisor or senior welder you will work closely as part of the manufacturing team and report to the production manager
The main role and responsibilities of a welding Supervisor or senior welder but are not limited to, the following:
? Overseeing the production including the laser cutting and punching machines
? Allocating work to employees, setting production targets and communicating precise instructions
? Manage a multi-disciplinary team of 10 full time employees
? Reported weekly status of builds to company Management
? Conduct employee meetings
? Ensures that all employees work in a safe manner, in a safe environment
? Responsible for handling customer complaints and initiating corrective action
