Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience
Based In Loughborough, Leicestershire but easily commutable from Leicester, Nottingham & Derby and West Midlands.
Job Description Working as part of the Operations team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering quality part and process preparation. You will manage the delivery of off-tool, off-process parts and final part approval to ensure the smooth launch of new products. You will provide technical assistance to suppliers to aid the removal of roadblocks, establish root cause and robust solutions to deviation from customer expectations You will work with the program/ project management team to ensure that all deliverables are achieved on time, minimising any delays.

What will I need to be successful? You will hold a Batchelors degree or a HNC or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant discipline. You will be able to demonstrate relevant industrial experience ideally within Automotive OEM or 1st Tier. You will hold a lead audit qualification, ideally including AS9100 standards. A Six Sigma black or green belt certification would be advantageous. You will have a proven track record of supplier development and relationship management, with demonstrable knowledge of assembly line set up and growth to medium / high volume. A proven record of developing quality management systems to IATF16949 and AS9100 is desirable. Experience with quality processes, quality improvement or lean manufacturing is desirable, as is knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, machining, welding, casting, stamping, plating, plastic moulding, metal cutting, steel making, steel processing and PCB assembly. It is important that you have excellent communication skills and you are able to work effectively in a team. You will have strong analytical skills along with strong commercial awareness and excellent supplier relationship skills. Interested? Here are your options:
