Supply Chain Co-Ordinator Kier Highways is looking to recruit a Co-Ordinator to report to The Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for speaking with the customer and coordinating their enquiry by providing the most efficient solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the supply chain PQQ process
  • Support the on-going management of existing supply chain partners data to ensure it is up to date
  • Aid SCM with the Performance review process for supply chain partners
  • Development of bid strategy with regards to supply chain
  • Send out Tender enquiries via email and e-tender portal
  • Chase up and collate quotes
  • Compile comparisons with Bid Team
  • Aid SCM with Contract Specific Tender exercises
  • Input Frameworks on to CPA
  • Produce LOI's / Subcontract Agreements
  • Execution of subcontracts
  • Perform other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completion of Initial Professional Development (ICE, or equivalent)
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Previous structural experience in bridges/buildings, with a track record of ensuring buildability and value engineering
  • Full driving licence
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Build and maintain working relationships with colleagues
  • Understand how commercial issues impact on your role, your colleagues and the business
