Job Title: Supply chain Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000
Work Type: Office Based
Locations: North London
The Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Non-Perishable category, aligning with overall business goals, sales targets, and customer needs.
- Monitor supplier performance daily to ensure timely and complete delivery of high-quality products.
- Use data analysis, historical sales trends, and market insights to support demand forecasting and create replenishment plans for Non-Perishable items.
- Implement inventory management strategies to prevent stock outs, reduce excess inventory, and maintain optimal inventory turnover for Non-Perishable products.
- Establish and uphold quality control standards to ensure all Non-Perishable products meet company criteria before reaching the shelves.
- Implement measures to reduce product waste and shrinkage, efficiently managing expiration dates and handling damaged goods.
- Collaborate with the Marketing/Merchandising team to plan promotions, seasonal offerings, and special campaigns for the Non-Perishable category.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, food safety standards, and health regulations for the handling and storage of Non-Perishable goods.
- Use supply chain analytic and data-driven insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiency's within the Non-Perishable category supply chain.
- Develop contingency plans and response strategies to address supply chain disruptions caused by unforeseen events such as natural disasters or transportation challenges.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Proven experience (4-5 years) in supply chain management, preferably in a retail environment, focusing on Non-Perishable categories.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain dynamics, including vendor management and quality control processes.
- Strong numerical and analytically skills, capable of using data to make informed decisions and optimise supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with supply chain software and technology's
