We're looking for a Support Driver to join our Utilities, South West Water team no days are the same. Within this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme.

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our South West Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.

In the role of Support Driver, you will work closely in a team and other colleagues to work on schemes including mains laying, pressure management, district metering and large and complex mains repairs.

Location: Based in Redruth

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Responsibilities

As a Support Driver for the South West Water team your day-to-day will include:

  • Deliver and collect signing, Lighting, guarding from sites across the North Devon area.
  • Complete, check and return all paperwork required
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of vehicles and equipment to a high standard, including daily vehicle checks on any vehicle driven
  • Ensure that all allocated works are completed within the notified timescales and that your supervisor is notified prior to leaving the workplace
  • Ensure that when driving, all vehicle checks are carried out and that the vehicle is driven in a safe a courteous manner
Who are we looking for?

  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
  • Trailer Towing licence
  • Emergency First Aid
