We are looking to hire Support Operators to work within our Immediate Response Centre. The purpose of the Response Centre is to ensure industry leading services are delivered to our regional maintenance contracts which include Surrey County Council (SCC), TFL LoHAC South and Royal borough of Kingston. Your role will be crucial to providing safety defect service delivery and supporting our highways, keeping them moving.

Support Operators will be responsible for assisting the Controllers in the delivery of this service and will be a key member of the Response Centre team in a challenging but rewarding work environment.

The Support Operator will be a key contact for clients and public bodies (i.e. police). They will help to monitor in real time Kiers response to requests for work and be responsible for the delivery and level of service within the contractual requirements.

The Response Centre team will be a delivery focused team which will require excellent organisational, communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure. Supporting the Controller in overseeing the delivery of operations in this fast paced and continually evolving environment, whilst also helping to produce & present KPI data. It will be an exciting yet challenging role.

Working Hours:

The Response Centre is open 24 hours per day all days of the year. The role will require you to work 12 hour working days within a shift pattern in order to ensure a fully staffed Response Centre all year round. The pattern will be 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off.
