As a surveyor within our Installations, Movement and Change team we are looking for an experienced candidate with knowledge and skills in assessing workplaces and visualising the finished article. Being field based, you will be happy to visit new locations in and around the South West of the UK surveying the workspace and drawing up plans efficiently and to a high standard.
The main responsibilities of a surveyor will be to visit our customer branches and remote sites, survey and scope for installations, removals and relocations of ATM cash machines and work with the project manager when coordinating schedules for completion. You will be required to produce accurate surveys and detailed site drawings, including measurements and elevations which will be relayed to the technical department to allow for accurate quotes.
You will be professional and have excellent communication skills as dealing with customers is an essential part of your role. You will be able to manage your time well and ensure you work within timescales set by the project manager and customer. For this role you must have previous experience and knowledge of surveying and drawing up site plans as you will be asked to demonstrate this during the shortlisting process. You will need to have general building and construction experience in order to understand the process and requirements our installations team require and have had previous experience in a similar surveying and customer facing role. Being a role that will require you to be travelling, you must hold a full UK Driving licence and be prepared to travel daily.
You will be provided with a company vehicle, mobile and laptop and will have regular contact with your team to offer support and instruction where needed. This is not a typical 9 - 5 and will require some flexibility in working hours.
