Kier is looking to recruit a Estates Surveyor to join our Lincoln Estates team who will be keen to take on a varied and challenging caseload as an integral member of a busy team that provides professional consultancy services to a range of public sector clients.
Operating within a team structure and working collaboratively with other team members, the successful candidate will maintain an individual caseload and should be able to work on his/her own initiative to deliver a high quality service within agreed timescales and budgets, build and maintain excellent client relationships and also help generate new business for the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, client-focused estates services in addition to providing a wide-ranging professional advice on a varied portfolio of:
Key Responsibilities:
- Degree in general practice surveying
- Obtained or be working towards MRICS APC qualification
- Practical experience and knowledge of property management and property reviews to identify areas for improvement in the use and occupation of both operational and non-operational property
- Effective Writing and Meeting Skills
- Mechanical and Electrical Awareness
- Influencing, Negotiation and Time Management Skills
- Management of Subcontractors
- Facilitation Skills
- Be a good communicator, both verbally and in writing
