We're looking for a Surveyor to join our Major Projects Devonport team based in Plymouth, Devon. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities



As a Surveyor for the 10 Docks Project, you will be part of a small integrated team and will cover all surveying responsibilities on this complex project. The role will focus on 10 Dock remediation and the construction of the supporting building.

Your day to day will include:

· Establish, maintain, and verify survey control through GNSS, TPS and Levelling surveys

· Integrating the methods using an adjustment software

· Technically support the engineers through the management of survey equipment and guiding through surveying standards

· Implement and follow safe working methodologies and procedures to support a survey team through a complex and controlled work environment

· Support and maintain an automated monitoring system though prism and scanning surveying

· Manage and service the survey instruments through check & adjustment and organising offsite servicing



Who are we looking for?

This role of Surveyor is great for if you:

· Have experience as a surveyor with a background in the construction industry

· Previously worked on a Nuclear Licensed site or similar controlled environments

· Hold UK major projects experience

· Experience establishing and maintaining complex control networks

· Proficient using a variety of survey instruments and software
