We are now recruiting for a Surveyor to join our Utilities team in Bodmin to provide professional advice on a range of construction-related matters.

What you'll be doing:

  • Undertaking potable water main New Connection Surveys, including establishing traffic management and pipe sizing requirements to undertake the works
  • Ensure compliance of the works in relation to water regulation & new installations for potable water mains & service
  • Complete required inspection forms via hand held electronic device
We are seeking candidates who:

  • you will ideally have previous experience within a similar position , ideally within the water sector however we welcome applications from other sectors such as highways, telecoms, electricity, gas and those with plumbing backgrounds.

Kier _______ is looking to recruit a Plumber, who will report to the ­­­­Manager. The successful post-holder will be responsible for undertaking plumbing and repairs and maintenance work by providing high quality work and cost effective building services to the business and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and undertake plumbing and associated work as directed liaising with other employees of the company as necessary in order to complete specified works
  • Receive, plan and complete job orders on time, ensuring levels of productivity and work within the required timescales or to targets
  • Conduct work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work and recognised industrial standards of such work, minimising damage to the fabric of the property
  • Carry out minor after-trade work e.g. brickwork, plastering etc.
  • Undertake essential reinstatement work as necessary in order to ensure premises are left in a secure, safe and weather tight condition
  • Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to Customer Care
