We're looking for a Surveyor to join our Utilities, South West Water team no days are the same. Within this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme.

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our South West Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.

In the role of Surveyor, you will work closely in a team and other colleagues to work on schemes including mains laying, pressure management, district metering and large and complex mains repairs.

Location: Based in Bournemouth

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Responsibilities

As a Surveyor for the South West Water team your day-to-day will include:

  • Undertaking potable water main New Connection Surveys, including establishing traffic management and pipe sizing requirements to undertake the works
  • Ensure compliance of the works in relation to water regulation & new installations for potable water mains & service
  • Complete required inspection forms via hand held electronic device
Who are we looking for?

  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
  • you will ideally have previous experience within a similar position , ideally within the water sector however we welcome applications from other sectors such as highways, telecoms, electricity, gas and those with plumbing backgrounds.
