Role overview

Breedon are currently seeking a Systems Apprentice to join our Technical team based at our Clatchard office in the Fife and Tayside Region.

During the apprenticeship programme, you will undertake appropriate theoretical and practical training to develop the knowledge, skills and experience required to achieve the appropriate SVQ qualification and assist in the provision of systems administration.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:-

  • Prepare technical data required for internal and external quality audits
  • Liaise with Technical, Operational and Quality Assurance colleagues to ensure records are current and available
  • Ensure Quality Control testing is carried out in line with control procedures
  • Assist with non-conformity management
  • Ensure consistency in reports across the regional business

You will have a pro-active approach, be confident in using IT devices, applications, software and systems and you will have knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and a good understanding of administrative processes and procedures. It is also essential that you have 3 Standard Grades at grade 4/Nat 4 or above and the ability to undertake an SVQ Level 3.

You will have good oral and written communication skills along with good numerical skills.

Although experience in this field is not essential, it is desirable that you have experience of working in a team and that you are passionate and committed to your own personal development.
