Technical Administrator - Healthcare Facilities (Part-Time) Location: Midland Metropolitan University Hospital Hours: 25 hours per week (Temporary to Permanent) Salary: Competitive, with excellent benefits

Daniel Owen Ltd is working on behalf of a valued client to recruit a part-time Technical Administrator to support a busy healthcare estates team. This is a great opportunity to join a professional facilities management environment, supporting essential services within a health care setting.

The Role You will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the estates team, ensuring compliance, system accuracy, and smooth communication with contractors and internal teams. This position plays a vital role in helping the team deliver safe and effective building services.

Key duties include:

Assigning Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to engineers

Daily monitoring and chasing of PPM completion

Keeping the CAFM system (Maximo) up to date with accurate job records

Ensuring outstanding tasks are completed and properly documented

Supporting updates to O&M manuals and adding project works to the CAFM system

Managing documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies

Assisting with audits and maintaining key documentation both electronically and physically

Liaising with contractors and clients as needed

General administrative support (e.g. scanning, printing, binding)

Assisting with monitoring of reactive jobs and tracking those over site maintenance caps

Supporting the team with information for damage claims

Representing the estates team during departmental walkarounds

Carrying out other admin duties as required

Candidate Requirements Proven experience in administration (essential)

Knowledge or experience of building services or facilities management (desirable)

Familiarity with CAFM systems, particularly Maximo (preferred)

Strong organisational skills with a proactive, hands-on approach

Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)

Ability to pass a Basic DBS check (essential)
