Position: Technical Assistant - Windows and Doors
Location: Dublin 12
Salary: Negotiable DOE
Responsibilities:
- Full understanding and recent experience working with current industry regulations and building regulations. Façade experience is an advantage.
- Experience in commercial projects is essential (apartments / housing)
- Prepare Drawings using CAD as instructed by the Team Leader, proficiency in AutoCad is essential, Knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
- Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects
- Produce design packs for Company engineer to review.
- Ability to work on own initiative and provide innovative solutions to design issues
- Liaise with architects, engineers and designers to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians
- Conduct site visits and surveys when required
- Produce technical submittals for large scale commercial projects alongside technical department.
- Produce project specific O&M documentation .
- Good knowledge & understanding of the - BC(A)R Building Control (Amendment) Regulations
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in design
- Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a similar role
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player
