Key Responsibilities:
- Provide lifecycle management reports, book lifecycle works in and report on progress on a monthly basis.
- Full management responsibility of PPM and Statutory PPM works, ensuring all are completed on time, relevant back up documents of services carried out are available and any remedial works arising out of these visits is recorded, booked in and completed to ensure full transparency to client
- Provide a monthly PPM report to the Senior Contracts Manager for insertion into the Monthly Report, ensuring any exceptions are recording with explanations and plans for closing out
- Development of staff and the associated training; ensure all staff are undertaking their duties in line with contractual requirements, Kier procedures and their job description
- Development & implementation of strategies to fully maximize the benefits available from the utilisation of directly employed and specialist sub contract maintenance
- Ensure that Kier staff and sub-contractors are managed and services provided in accordance with the contract specification and Key Performance Indicators
- Manage all technical aspects at the site. The role also includes full operational responsibility of the on-site maintenance team.
- Identify contractual, financial, technical and operational risks and to find opportunities for value engineering, in order to minimize risk
- An M&E background and experience in facilities management
- Experience in managing a team of engineers and building fabric operatives
- Qualified to ONC or equivalent in engineering or proven experience
- Holder of appropriate CSCS
- Relevant electrical qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Legionella Awareness
- BSRIA introduction to BIM training course
- Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety legislation, minimum Health and Safety qualifications of IOSH
- Good oral, written and numerical skills
- Good IT skills including Microsoft word, excel and power point
- Strong commercial acumen, able to adapt their skills to business sectors
