Our client specializes in creating Modular factory manufactured solutions to both the rental and permanent building market sectors. With over 45 years' experience in the rental of superior quality modular accommodation systems and associated services, to their customers, no matter which their needs are: additional office space, more secure storage, a Health Centre, an extra classroom, etc.
Purpose
Responsible for providing technical advice to customers and ensuring installations are completed as per the plans. You will provide the pivotal link between branches, transport, support services and customers to ensure that their requirements are fully met in relation to installations.
The Role
Reporting the Project Manager you will have functional relationships with numerous other key stakeholders including the Regional Director, Regional Service Manager, Site Manager, Transport and Service Supervisors. There will also be a necessity to work collaboratively with other support functions including other branches, central hire and the regional administration team.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide customers with technical advice.
- Carry out site specific surveys alongside clients, for both installations and collections as required.
- All necessary documentation preparation, including Lifting Plans and RAMS. Production of Method Statements and Risk Assessments specific for each site. Also generic method statements as necessary.
- Preparation of the Running order and programme of works for transports, support services and installation team.
- Production Tracking of cabins at the factories with request visits to make sure all customer requirements are identified and to avoid installation issues.
- Act as the main point of contact between customers and the various branches, central hire, admin team, workshop teams, transport and support services ensuring a fluid delivery and installation plan on all projects is achieved.
- Site Attendance to make sure that all is in place for smooth run of works as required.
- Identification of snags and liaison with the support services team to correct all snags before handover.
- Confirming certificates of completion and snag lists are done and signed by customer once units are suitable to be used.
- Preparation of a cost control sheets to allow comparison between quotations and real cost - Highlight any issues on quote.
- Preparation of job reports for each job including non-conformities, actions and lessons learned. Share it with team members.
- Management of all aspects of Elliott subcontractors on site (including: quality, H&S, cost and programme).
- Preparation of reports with job status reporting as required.
- Ensure best practices are in line with the Company's "zero harm" philosophy and client requirements, ensuring that risk assessments and method statements produced are in accordance with company standards.
About You
You will: -
- hold an Appointed Person qualification (essential)
- possess first hand knowledge of Lorry Loaders (essential)
- be a great Communicator
- have customer facing industry experience
- possess good IT skills
- be an experienced team player
- hold a current UK driving licence
Ideally you will be hold a: -
- Slinger/ Signaller qualification
- IPAF qualification
- PASMA qualification
- SSSTS qualification
