Technical Site Inspector Job in West London / Remote Working

Technical Site Inspector job in West London / North West London / Remote Working for an award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy, working on a mix of both new build and major refurb projects across residential, healthcare, education, leisure, commercial fit-out and Government. Our client is looking for a technically competent Site Inspector from a Clerk of Works, Building Warranty Inspector, Building Control or Site Manager background, with MCIWCI, MCABE, MCIOB, MRICS, CQI or working towards.

The multidisciplinary practice is award-winning and specialises in commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, retail, mixed-use and residential. Offering a multitude of services in Architecture, BIM, M&E, Engineering, Surveying, Project Management and H&S. Made up of 6 offices and 350 staff, they are continuing to grow and offer excellent progression opportunities as well as financial support towards relevant industry qualifications and accreditations.

Role & Responsibilities

- Regular inspections of construction work to monitor progress and quality

- Verify compliance with contractual drawings, specifications, warranty standards and Employer's Requirements

- Identify discrepancies and prepare written reports with supporting photographs

- Close liaison with main contractors and site teams to review and advise on quality management

- Occasional need to visit manufacturers to review quality

- Working on a variety of construction projects across Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Government, Justice Buildings, Leisure, Community Builds and Residential (Project values £6m - £300m).

Required Skills & Experience

- Experienced in largescale new build and major refurb/extension projects (mix of sectors preferred)

- Previous experience working as a Site Inspector, Building Warranty Inspector, Clerk of Works, Site Manager, Building Control Inspector

- A detailed knowledge of various forms of construction

- Experienced in producing site inspection reports

- Ability to read construction drawings

- Microsoft Office

- MICWCI, MCIOB, MCABE, MCQI or MRICS or working towards

- Membership to the IFE preferred but not essential, support in obtaining this will be provided

- UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.

- Salary £45,000 - £55,000 (Negotiable)
