Halo is London's leading event and stage lighting equipment hire, event services & venue technical support company. Hires are an important part of Halo's activities accounting for a sizeable part of our turnover.

Over the past 30 years we have secured a solid reputation for delivering a quality hire service and we are now looking at building on this record by growing our team.

The role

· Taking enquiries - mostly emails but also some by phone.

· Getting proposals approved.

· Organising all aspects of hires: equipment specifications / logistics / sub-hires / H&S, etc

· Obtaining quotes from suppliers and purchase at best price. Ensure the procurement process is effective and is well coordinated with our accounts department.

· Ensure that invoices are raised for work undertaken.

· Oversee equipment preps in conjunction with warehouse manager.

Experience required:

· Track record in any position in the event industry - especially with regards to rental.

· Extensive working knowledge of all aspects of production equipment: AV / Lighting / Sound / Staging

· Commercial experience in any position - negotiating with clients and suppliers, delivering sales.

Desirable skills:

· Any rental management software

· Any CAD package such as sketch-Up

· Any design software such as In-design / Photoshop, etc.

· Social Media management

Senior Hire /Rental Operative

  • Full-time, Permanent
  • Location: White Lion Street, London N1 9PD
  • Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30
  • Paid overtime
  • Yearly Salary c. £40,000 / year
  • Starting date: September 2022
