JOB TITLE: Technician in Construction

SALARY: £9.46 per hour + statutory holiday pay


This role is for 29 hours a week across Monday - Friday.

This position could potentially lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Herts Resourcing Group are seeking a Technician for Construction to provide support to the students and teaching staff of the department. You will support teaching and learning in Construction subjects, with responsibility for the use and maintenance of Construction equipment for Carpentry, Brick and Painting and Decorating.

You will prepare safe, correctly resourced workshops, and assist the teaching staff and students with assessment through applying own knowledge of techniques and processes as required.

We are seeking a well-organised individual who holds a minimum Level 2 qualification in either Carpentry, Brick or Painting and Decorating and will ideally hold a higher qualification, a recognised Health and Safety qualification and have experience of the Construction industry, in particular being on site.
