JOB DESCRIPTION:

The contract covers around 2,300 miles of Strategic Road Network within Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, and Shropshire, as well as parts of Gloucestershire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire. Our client deals within cyclical maintenance, reactive maintenance, incident response, severe weather response and minor works in a region that has five strategically critical motorway interchange junctions, as well as being at the heart of the new HS2 network.

The post holder will have overall accountability in the development and management of key client expectations & operational delivery whilst ensuring the compliance with all quality procedures and safe working practices, undertaking all works to the highest possible Health, Safety and Environmental standards.

Acting within financial authorities, in respect of contract revenue, expenditure and budgets in line with operational forecasts. Provide strong people management in line with corporate policies to develop a high performing team.

Daily responsibilities will include

The technology & electrical team leader will have responsibility for leading a team on electricians and technology engineers.

They will manage the deployment of their team to enable delivery of the level of service we aspire to.

They will be responsible for safeguarding the welfare and health and safety of themselves and their team. Strong management experience and competency is essential.

The technology & electrical team leader will have the opportunity to work closely with our innovation team to help trial and deploy innovative techniques and services to not only improve health and safety but also meet the demands of the enhanced technology and electrical maintenance service.
