Position: New Opportunity Tekkla Detailer New Opportunity
Location: Wexford (With Remote / Hybrid Option)
Salary: Negotiable DOE
The role will be an integral part of the production team and include attending production team meetings, providing programmes and registers, managing submittals, RFI's and O&M files. The site-based work will require travel within Ireland to conduct site surveys with a need for both SafePass and Manual Handling. Previous experience with Steel Fabrication Management Information Software such as STRUMIS would be an advantage. Knowledge of CE Marking to EN 1090 also an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients and consultants regarding design works
- Managing drawings on projects from concept to completion such as approval, fabrication, shop and site assembly drawings
- Review jobs with manufacturing to improve process and product designs
- Liaising with our site teams on project installations
- Managing Programme scheduling of jobs with clients and our production team
- Issuing of Operations and Maintenance manuals.
Requirements
- 2+ years relevant experience as a Detailer in the Metalworks/Architectural/Construction sector.
- Strong technical background. Proficient with packages like, excel, word and Google Workspace.
- Strumis would be an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, interacting with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills along with an ability to input effectively into decision making, with the team.
- A strong communicator and fluent in English, written and speech.
