Telescopic Driver - REQUIRED!

The Company:
The company are a building and construction contractor who are currently operating on several projects across the UK, working on a range of building and construction sites including new build and commercial. As a Telescopic Driver with the firm, you will be expected to operate the Telehandler on site and perform lifts for trades on site.

The Opportunity:
Site Operatives will be based on the current site they have in Bedford for around a month and a half. Candidates will be required to have a background in building and construction.

The Role / Experience & Responsibilities:
The company is looking for a Telescopic Driver who wants to work long term with the potential of future contract offers coming from the contractor afterwards. To be considered for the role, the following experience and certifications will be sought after:

  • MUST have CPCS/NPORS
  • REQUIRED to have background in construction and have experience on a Telehandler.
  • MUST have ability to get to site in Bedford.
  • REQUIRED to wear Full PPE (hard hat, High Vis & Safety boots)
  • MUST have working reference
  • MUST have the right to work in the UK

This role is an initial month and a half in Bedford paying £16.06 per hour plus £1.94 per hour (holiday pay), via PAYE. A fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established Building and construction contractor with plenty of work and potential for future contract offers.
