The Role
As part of continued growth there is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Test & Commissioning Engineer to join their machining services division in Coalville. Duties will include: the power up and commissioning of their machines in the UK, diagnosis of fault conditions and rectification of minor discrepancies, set up, inspection and test of electrical and mechanical systems, installation and re-commissioning on customer sites both in the UK and abroad, applications related test work, and interacting with customers including training of operators and maintenance staff.
The Candidate
As the successful Test & Commissioning Engineer you will be electrically biased with some practical mechanical experience and will have experience with machine tool or automation equipment and familiarity of: PC or CNC control systems, servo systems, pneumatic & hydraulic equipment and electronic devices including encoders and motors. Also required is a good knowledge of manufacturing methods, a logical and analytical approach to problem solving, keen attention to detail and effective communication skills.
