We are working with a client who design and manufacture of bespoke timber frame kits for residential developments and self-build projects. They are now seeking a Timber Frame Designer to join their experienced design team in Lanarkshire. With a potentially attractive salary this is an excellent opportunity for a Timber Frame Designer who is looking to enhance and develop their career.
You will have the chance to work on a variety of customised and bespoke projects, using a range of in house manufactured products as well as outsourced materials. Our client has built up a good reputation and catalogue of products and you will have the opportunity to design projects using their premium off-site manufactured fully closed panel system, with a high level of thermal performance.
Your main responsibilities will be to draw, plan and schedule the timber frame projects. You will also be provided with appropriate training where necessary and will be given the opportunity to develop your timber engineering, construction and manufacturing skills.
Skills Required:
- Excellent knowledge of timber frame design and manufacturing
- Experience using AutoCAD, Mitek Woodengine or Vertex (experience in other software are also advantageous)
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work within a team.
