An exciting opportunity to join a distributor of building products where you will specialise within the timber department within the group. Your main responsibilities will include daily contact with various branch locations ascertaining their needs and organising deliveries from their central distribution location in the South East, raising the relevant paperwork. Where there is insufficient stocks to meet demand you will contact timber importers to source materials at the best prices. You will in addition support the external sales force and indeed become customers internal point of contact as regards timber products.
You will report to the Timber Product Manager who is looking forward to mentoring the successful candidate and bringing them through within the business. This will ensure that you will have a bright and rosy future within the business.
About You
* Good verbal and face to face communication skills
* Some experience or a strong affinity with Timber
* Good attention to detail whilst with the skill to juggle lots of projects
* IT literate
* Ambitious and hungry to progress within a business that is growing
